You may request this tag at your county tag office during the established application period (01-01-2007 thru 12-31-2008) with the $25 manufacturing fee per tag. Important: If the required number (1,000) of 'paid' requests is not received by the deadline (12-31-08), these tags will not be manufactured & the manufacturing fees will be refunded.
Of the $25 fees collected for the issuance & renewal of these tags, the fees shall be distributed as follows: $1 to the County Tag Agent, $2 to the Dept. of Revenue (design & manufacturer costs), $12 to the State Treasury & $10.00 to the Dept. of Community Affairs or such other public agency or non-profit corporation as may be designated to support charities supported by the foundation. Initial Cost: $70 + ad valorem tax. Initial Cost if manufacturing fee prepaid: $45 + ad valorem tax & original receipt. Renewal Cost: $45 + ad valorem. |
